David Lynch: The Art Life 2016

A very personal monologue by the legendary visionary David Lynch about his idyllic childhood, anxious studenthood and the search for his way in art. In an art studio, amid strange objects and cigarette smoke, the creator of "Twin Peaks," "Mulholland Drive" and "Blue Velvet" describes hypnotic paintings from his past that reveal themselves as scenes from his movies. Crazy shadows and bizarrely human images manifest and fade as they imprint themselves on the imagination of Lynch, an artist, musician, and the most mysterious director in world cinema.
